Facile Synthesis Titanium/Carbon Nanotube Doped Nanoparticle Via Liquid Impregnation Method

Abstract


Nanocrystalline semiconductor TiO2 particles are of interest due to their unique properties and several potential technological applications such as photocatalysis, sensors, solar cells and memory devices. in this experiment tio2 nanoparticle is coated with carbon nanotubes. this process is done by liquid impregnation method. cnt/titania nanoparticle that are formed by this process. The  increased the rate of photo-catalysis  8.5%. the concentration of the cnt was varied from 0.1 to 1 %. Our method is simple, well-controlled, and very effective in boosting the performance TiO2-CNT in photocatalysis for potential application in industrial waste water treatment.
