Abstract


Poly (amino benzene sulfonic acid) (PABS) was successfully synthesized by aniline initiated polymerization of m-aminobenzene sulfonic acid using ammonium persulfate oxidation has been attempted for the different concentration of aniline (15-20 mol% of ABS). We have been investigated water soluble PABS using spectroscopic techniques such as, UV-Vis spectroscopy, FT-IR spectroscopy, PABS composites synthesized by the present investigations are highly expected to contribute towards the improvement in the sensitivity of chemiresistor based ammonia sensor.
