GSM Based Solar Power Inverter Monitoring Using IR Rays

Abstract


Natural power inverter takes source from the sunlight by using solar panel. Solar panel converts the light energy into electrical energy. The output from the solar panel provides 12volts output. The output from the solar panel is connected to the DC battery, and then the battery continuously charged. Main function of the inverter circuit is to convert the dc voltage into ac supply which is connected to the appliances used in our day today life.

 

This system proposed it charges the battery even in the night time by using IR rays. In my proposed system, LDR circuit is also used ,which identify the night time and on the IR light by using electromechanical switch called Relay. This IR light emits IR rays which are given as the source for the solar panel. Thus we can also charge the battery even during the night time. The status of the system is displayed each and every second on the LCD display. When power inverter in failure mode then an alarm is generated immediately and also an alert message (SMS) is sent to the authorized person through the GSM. The system also supports to provide real-time monitoring of concentration of the power inverter.
