Enhancement of Ionic Conductivity of PMMA:Li+ Polymer Films due to the Adding of Ag Nano Fillers

Abstract


Transparent PMMA:Li+ polymer films with and without the presence of Ag nano-fillers (particles)  in varied contents have been synthesized  by a standard solution casting procedure. For those films, their XRD has been analysed in understanding their structural properties.  Thermal analysis has been carried out for only  the host PMMA film from the measurement of TG-DTA profiles. The ionic conductivities have also been measured for the samples in addition with AgNP dispersed PMMA:Li+ polymer films  from the impedance analysis.  The high ionic conductivity has been noticed to be 3.41X10-7S/cm  at 0.0625wt% concentration of AgNPs at the room temperature.
