Surface Modification of Zno Nano Particles Doped Pmma Film Using DC Glow Discharge Plasma

Abstract


Zinc oxide nana particles were prepared by solgel method. Niño particles of Nzo doped with PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) polymer and the films were prepared by dipcoating method. The Nzo nano/ PMMA film was exposed to the DC glow discharge plasma for surface modification purposes. The plasma treated and untreated Nzo nano / PMMA films were analysed by UV-Visible spectrum, Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X- Ray Diffraction. From the various results such as Transmittance, absorption, surface morphology and crystal structure of untreated films were compared with the plasma treated films.
